How much hair do I need?

For a full look sew-in install with our Premium hair bundles, you would need approximately 3-4 bundles of hair. We recommend buying 3 bundles of hair for lengths 12” to 18”. We recommend 3-4 packs for lengths 20″or longer. Each bundle weighs about 3. 5 ounces. Keep in mind that the hair weft may be shorter the longer the length of the bundles because hair bundles are sold by weight and not inches.

Can I color/dye this hair? 

Yes, you can color/dye our hair. We offer 100% virgin human unprocessed hair. Be sure to keep color treated hair conditioned and moisturized. Seek professional assistance for best results and maintenance.

How long does the hair last?
Our Premium bundles can last 1-2 years depending on how you take care of it. Proper maintenance is recommended.

Maintenance Instructions:
 Shampooing:
  • Shampoo at least once a week
  • Use moisturizing shampoo and conditioner
  • Do not massage the hair while shampooing. Instead, gently smooth the product through the hair in one direction from the top of the weft to the ends.
  • Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water
  • Apply conditioner, comb through with a wide tooth comb or paddle brush, starting with the ends working your way up to the weft.
  • Rinse thoroughly.
  • Allow to air dry or place under hooded dryer on cool/medium heat.
Daily Maintenance:

  • To avoid product build up, use product minimally.
  • For wavy hair, spray the hair with water and a small amount of leave-in conditioner.
  • After wetting the hair, comb through your bundles using a wide toothed comb or paddle brush beginning at the ends and working your way up to the weft until detangled.
  • Scrunch or twist hair around your fingers to gently to reform your waves/curls.
  • Allow to air dry or use a hooded dryer on cool/medium heat. You can also use a diffuser attachment on your blow dryer on cool/medium heat.
  • If using heat, apply heat protectant to avoid heat damage.
  • Style as desired.

Your hair is your investment, so avoid alcohol-based products as they will dry your hair.

Can I make changes to my order?

At Certified Manes we are committed to providing you with the best experience possible. We will do our best to accommodate any reasonable request prior to the order shipping.
